NATIONAL ACCOUNTS PROGRAM

If you’re a multi-site facility operator in search of energy-saving projects, Eco Engineering could be the right choice for you. Eco has a proven track record of success with national lighting program implementations. From JC Penney to Valvoline to Frisch’s Restaurants, we work with customers who demand efficiency, aesthetic appeal, and payback in their lighting upgrades.

Project Management Is Our Strength
We think the most important factor in doing a successful, large-scale lighting program is strong project management. Why? Because it’s the key to providing you with accountability and consistent performance across all of your sites. At Eco, we have one of the best processes around when it comes to managing multiple, simultaneous lighting upgrades with speed and success. But we don’t make that claim casually. Here are the facts that support it:

  • We utilize a proprietary 10-Phase Project Plan. This 37-page plan has been 10 years in the making at Eco. It's an extensive checks-and-balances worksheet that all Eco personnel must utilize and adhere to with each job. It ensures consistency and uniformity in project scope and goals.
  • All work is centrally coordinated and dispatched at our corporate headquarters. This means you have a single point of contact and central control.
  • The assigned Project Manager is always a highly-qualified employee, not a sub-contractor. Our process means nothing if company standards aren't followed on a day-to-day basis. That's why Project Managers for each job are always Eco company employees who value the organization and live the process. This ensures consistent implementation approach and adherence to Eco's business values.
  • We have long-standing, national vendor relationships with some of the top lighting materials providers. This results in "location friendly" materials management and logistics coordination for our national programs. Your on-site employees won't be burdened with managing our project materials at their locations.
  • We resolve issues quickly. Our inherent process minimizes performance and communications-related issues. However, when issues do arise, Eco takes an "own it and resolve it quickly" attitude... not a "he said she said" stance where time is wasted trying to place blame.
  • We conduct a detailed Quality Control meeting. Eco takes our customer satisfaction seriously. Very seriously. During our project re-cap meeting, we review the initial program deliverables to ensure that objectives were met. Customers walk away with an accurate report card of the program.
  • Our customers are satisfied. Verbal feedback tells us that our customers are satisfied. So does our mailbox. As of April 2002, we're fortunate to have received 154 actual customer satisfaction letters. That's 154 clients who took the time to write us a letter sharing why they were pleased with our work. (Soon-to-be customers often enjoy reading these letters because they're refreshingly candid and specific.)

References

"At Frisch's, we provide ourselves on maintaining a bright, clean atmosphere for our customers and employees. The new lighting that you recommended is a significant improvement that helps us maintain these standards.

The relatively short payback was the determining factor in our business discussion. Our energy savings will recover the cost of retrofitting our lighting system."
-- Frisch's Restaurants

"As you know, our store went through a ‘renewal process’ to update its overall appearance. Lighting was a major focal point, which we addressed using Eco Engineering's recommended solutions.

The installation went great. Your installers seemed to care about the store. For example, racks of merchandise that had to be moved during installation were put back in the proper locations. In addition, corrections were made to existing wiring problems in the ceiling, which brought us up to code.

We've heard several positive comments from our customers in regards to a brighter lighting atmosphere. I would recommend Eco Engineering highly."
-- Fortune 100 Department Store

"I have worked with many vendors on a variety of projects and usually hear complaints from my store managers regarding their work and/or professionalism. Your crew was able to complete installation around our tight store schedules, and I did not receive one complaint. You always made the extra effort to minimize interruptions and our store managers noticed and appreciated this."
-- Honeybaked Ham

"We wanted to be more energy efficient and felt that the time to make this change was during our hotel renovation. Your ‘turnkey’ approach did get my interest, but I wasn't convinced until I saw your proposal. Your ability to verify the savings prior to installation was very important to me.

Eco was able to provide the compact lamps at a great price as well as retrofit all of the fixtures in our offices, meeting rooms, banquet rooms, kitchen and vending areas. Overall, the hotel lighting looks great and we are saving money at the same time."
-- Embassy Suites

"Your use of highly qualified installers --who were competent, knowledgeable, and well prepared-- enabled the completion of our projects quickly and efficiently. Communication with your entire organization has been excellent. Eco is flexible, enabling Duke Realty to provide flexibility for our clients, which is very important in our business.

We especially appreciated the quality control meetings conducted at the completion of a project to discuss not only what went well, but also what could be done to improve the next project.

These upgrades produced significant savings, which were in line with projections. I am confident that we will be planning and proceeding with additional projects in the future."
-- Duke Realty Corp.
